A cookie is a short text file placed on your device by a website. Rowanmeadowmanor uses storage only to keep the site working, to remember a technical preference where one exists, and — if introduced later — to understand which pages are read, in aggregated form.
This site is built as static pages. It does not require an account cookie to display the hotel, salon or legal texts. If your browser blocks all cookies, you can still read the house pages. The enquiry form relies on your input in the page, not on a tracking cookie.

Optional measures of page use, never used to sell a guest list. If analytics tools are added, they will be listed here with a way to decline them.
Essential cookies
Storage that keeps the pages intact.
Essential cookies may be set by the hosting environment to route traffic, to keep a secure session with the server, or to prevent abuse of the form. They are not used to follow you onto other websites. They last only as long as needed for that technical job, often until the browser is closed or for a short numbered period.
Because they are required for a reliable visit, they run on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the site, or where the law treats them as strictly necessary. Disabling all cookies in the browser may still allow reading, yet some hosts will set a technical token you cannot opt out of without blocking the site.
Analytics preferences
Measurement only with a clear choice.
Rowanmeadowmanor does not currently require analytics cookies to publish these pages. If we later use a measurement service, we will describe the tool, the data it sees, and the retention period on this page. We will not treat analytics as essential.
Where a preference control is offered, declining analytics will not reduce hospitality at the desk. Aggregated counts, if used, will not identify a salon guest. We will not combine analytics with the text of your enquiry in order to profile you.

You can delete cookies, block third-party cookies, or ask to be notified before a file is stored. Instructions differ by browser. After you clear storage, any optional preference we might have saved will be forgotten until you choose again.
