How information moves through the desk.
Use
Messages are read by the guest desk to reply, to hold a chamber, a table or a salon evening, and to keep a record of what was agreed. We may use contact details to clarify dates or identification requirements.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed for the stay, for accounting, or for a legal duty. When that period ends, the record is deleted or reduced so it no longer identifies you.
Personal information
What we treat as personal, and what we do not ask.
Personal information includes your name, email address, telephone number, stay dates, dining notes and anything you choose to write in a message. If you later stay at the house, registration details required by hospitality law may be added to the same guest file.
We do not ask the public form for payment numbers, identity document scans or health data. Please do not include them in the message field. If a stay requires identification at the salon, that check happens in person and is not stored through this website.
Special category data is not requested. If a dietary note is given, it is used only to prepare food and is not shared beyond the kitchen and desk that need it.
User rights
Access, correction, deletion and a complaint path.
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where the law allows, or object to a particular use. You may also ask for a copy in a common format. Send the request from the email you used, or include enough detail for the desk to find the file.
We will answer within a reasonable time. If we must keep a record for a legal reason, we will say so. You may contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you believe the house has not met its duties. Using these rights will not change the courtesy of our reply.
Data security
Practical measures, not a promise of the impossible.
The website is served over encrypted connections where hosted. Access to enquiry mail is limited to staff who need it. Devices used by the desk are kept current. We do not publish guest names from the salon or the hotel on this site.
No house can guarantee that a message sent across the public internet will never be intercepted. Avoid sending payment secrets through the form. If you believe information has been misused, write immediately so we can contain the file and notify you of the next step.
This policy may be updated when the law or our practice changes. The version published on this page in 2026 is the one that applies to new enquiries. Continued use of the website after an update means the new wording applies to later visits.
